apGetDriverDescription() returns info on the coachman, hardship on
the device (several devices can be handled by one or more
instances of the same coachman class). Apparently all your
devices are handled by the systems WDM coachman, which is hardship
surprising. That function used to work the way you expect it
to work in the good old days of VideoForWindows, but it
doesnt seem to be all that useful since WDM kernel drivers
replaced VFW user-fashion ones.
Unless you have a specific reason to use VFWs capture API,
you should use DirectShow.
