I had today tommorrow the nice experience, I to one Update Windows 10 in of my middle-aged Programming-Environment (Yes, I entwickle still with the middle-aged Profan-Pad 3.6 ) The Help not any more Call could, since the neueren windows-versions the old *.hlp not directly support. there's of course in the meantime extensions for new versions, but from MS yet only To Win 8.1  [...] 

but the internet helps: here's the Workaround (  [...]  )

following steps:

1. On these Page weg:  [...] 

2. The File winhlp32-windows-7-x86-x64-komeil.cab download:  [...] 

3. The File with the Content (Install.cmd, winhlp32.exe, winhlp32.exe.mui) into new directory entpacken. The File install.cmd edit and the subesquent Lines in The 'settings' -Sektion insert:

set WindowsVersion=7
goto :BypassVersionError

(Yes, 'WindowsVersion=7' is correctly..)

4. Save file and as Administrator perform.
